Hi! I’m Miss Moran, and I will be teaching Kindergarten at Saint Andrew this upcoming school year. I grew up here in the Bucks County area and have been an active member of Saint Andrew Parish my entire life. I attended Saint Andrew School from Preschool through Eighth Grade and then went to Villa Joseph Marie High School in Holland, PA. Most recently, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Duquesne University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Early Childhood Education. In the past few years of my college experience, I have had opportunities to instruct students in various settings ranging from Kindergarten through fourth grade throughout the Pittsburgh area. I now currently hold a Pennsylvania teaching certificate in Grades Pre-K to 4, and I am eager to begin my first year of teaching in a school that had such a profound impact on my own educational experiences. I know first-hand how transformational and formative a Catholic education at Saint Andrew School can be, and I am looking forward to creating meaningful and active learning experiences for the Kindergarteners in my classroom. My hope is that these experiences will lay the foundation and instill a love of learning that will carry them throughout the rest of their educational careers!

Hi, my name is Mrs. Joanne Marx, and I am looking forward to joining Saint Andrew School as a fourth grade teacher. I know this year will be a time filled with learning and growing to create an awesome classroom environment for the students.
A little about myself, I attended Cardinal Dougherty High School and received a degree in education from Holy Family University. Several years later, I obtained a Master’s degree from Alvernia University. I have taught in both the Philadelphia and Allentown Dioceses, and I am currently entering my 21st year of teaching . Over the years I taught almost every grade, from kindergarten to eighth grade. This is my fifth consecutive year teaching in the fourth grade. My husband Frank and I have six children, all of whom attended Catholic grade school, high school and universities. Seeing first hand the education our own children received over the years has been very rewarding to us as parents. My goal, as a Catholic school teacher, is to inspire my students to grow in faith and become the very best versions of themselves. I enjoy engaging my students in the learning process through creative lesson planning and offering the students various ways to show their individual talents. I am so happy to join the Saint Andrew School community.
