STUDENT COUNCIL AT SAINT ANDREW SCHOOL
Student Council is open to students in grades 4-8. Students must have a 3 or above in Effort and Study Skills and Personal and Social Growth. Each fall students are elected by their peers to hold a leadership position on the Student Council. At meetings, students discuss ways to enrich school activities and address needs in the school and in the community. The Student Council representatives help around school (recycle, help teachers, etc.) and engage in various community service activities (Pretzel sales, bingo at D'Youville Manor, clothing/food drives, Daffodil Day for American Cancer Society, etc). The Executive Council in comprised of four 8th graders; all other representatives are assigned as class reps, these elections are in the fall.
